What is TechnoTeens?

TechnoTeens is a research study designed to better understand the ways in which teenage girls use different types of media and internet. This will help us recognize patterns of media use and how much teens utilize media and social networking in their daily lives.

Want to Participate?

Teen girls ages 12 to 15 may be eligible to participate and will be reimbursed for their time.

During our study, girls are asked questions having to do with physical, emotional, and psychological well-being, interests, relationships with friends and parents, and patterns of internet and social media use. You will also be given a laptop to use at home for a month in between study visits.

This is approximately a two year longitudinal study. Participants will have two follow-up study visits that consist of two sessions. We will also have follow-up phone calls to stay in contact between study visits. We hope to develop long lasting relationships with our participants over this two year period!

If you are interested in participating please contact us by e-mail at TechnoTeens@cchmc.org, by phone at 513-803-0313, or send us a message on our facebook page www.facebook.com/technoteenscchmc
